What You’ll Do
As a Production Line Leader, you’ll help guide and motivate a team of production operators to ensure the line runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll support the Manufacturing Supervisor, keep production on track, and help your team meet quality, output, and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manufacturing Supervisor in managing the production line and ensuring machines run efficiently with minimal downtime.

  • Monitor production output and help the team meet daily targets.

  • Identify and coach operators who show potential to take on more advanced tasks or equipment.

  • Provide hands-on guidance to operators to ensure they have the skills needed for their roles.

  • Track and update hourly production results.

  • Ensure CIQ (quality) processes are correctly followed on the production line.

  • Highlight any major production issues—such as high defect rates—to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

  • Maintain clear communication between operators and management.

  • Help foster a productive, positive team environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Strong communication skills—comfortable speaking with managers, operators, and other departments.

  • Ability to understand and solve problems by gathering information and making clear decisions.

  • Computer skills, especially with Windows-based software; familiarity with Jabil systems is a plus.

  • Able to read and understand instructions, visual aids, and simple written communication.

  • Comfortable with basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages, and graphs).

  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain consistent quality.

  • Experience in manufacturing or leading small teams is helpful, but a mix of education, training, and experience is also considered.
