Job Summary:**

The Lead I at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for guiding and overseeing a small team or specific tasks within a manufacturing or production environment. This role involves ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and providing hands-on support and training to team members.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Lead and motivate a small team of operators or technicians to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
* Allocate daily tasks and assignments, ensuring optimal resource utilization and adherence to production schedules.
* Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and promoting best practices.
* Monitor production processes and product quality, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.
* Perform hands-on tasks and operate equipment as needed to support production requirements.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to resolve production challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot basic production issues and implement effective solutions.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting work instructions, blueprints, and technical documents.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weight, and perform repetitive tasks.

The hourly pay range for this role is $19.76 - $35.58. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: April 15, 2026.
