How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Logistics Clerk at our Memphis, TN facility, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the logistics and shipping department. You’ll be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure smooth logistics processes and contribute to overall customer satisfaction.
Location:
This role is based on-site at our Memphis, TN facility.
What Will You Do?
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, packing lists, and labels.
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation for audits and reporting.
- Support logistics team with administrative tasks and data entry.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Management & Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities. It reports to the Logistics Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
How Will You Get Here?
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Basic understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
