Production Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technician/ Maintenance Equipment Support

Job Overview:

Production Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technician/ Maintenance Equipment Support: ensures machinery, equipment, and facility Production equipment operates efficiently by performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Routine Inspections and preventive maintenance task on Injection Molding machinery, Ancillary equipment, Automation, High speed assembly and building production systems to avoid operational disruptions
  • Cleaning/ Assist with maintaining oil and water leaks, grease and proper disposal of used fluids and waste components.  
  • Repair or replace worn parts such as belts, filters, fluids, and mechanical components before they cause major failures
  • Maintain Centralized Material vacuum and dust collection systems weekly
  • Document maintenance activities, service records that are in compliance in keeping schedule of the preventive maintenance (key player in site Launch and implementation of   CMMS)
  • Collaborate with Multiple departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to operations
  • Promote Safety Compliance, following all company policies, safety rules, and regulations while performing tasks 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Individual: Motivated/ Driven, Attention to detail, Honest, Hard working
  • Education: High school diploma is typically sufficient; an associate or bachelor’s degree in technical, industrial, or mechanical fields is advantageous
  • Experience: Prior experience in industrial equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or as an assistant/supervisor in similar roles is preferred  
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools.  A working Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting procedures are preferred. 
  • Computer Skills: Basic, Excel, Word. Inventory control of maintenance parts and able to navigate websites in order to place testing via web portal.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, kneel, squat, or work in tight spaces; Occasional flexible shifts, including nights or weekends for major scheduled maintenance events.

Work Environment

 Industrial Fast paced Manufacturing setting, PPE, Work wear provided, Climate controlled.

  • Work tasks involve handling fluids, lubricants, and part replacements, Some heavy equipment operations (Forklifts, Hoists, Etc.)
  • Tasks are performed in industrial settings requiring adherence to strict safety protocols
