JOB SUMMARY

The Sr Product Industrial Designer will work on projects ranging from consumer lifestyle products to technology driven medical products as part of a world class design and innovation team. This role is a key player managing projects and helping to lead and mentor other designers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Translates requirements, needs and insights into compelling user experiences
·         Contribute design knowledge and experience to product development projects
·         Lead and participate in project teams form concept generation, refinement and detailing
·         Give presentation and lead clients in key project milestones
·         Management and regular reporting of team activities (formal program management)
·         Recommends action plans for the continued professional growth and training of the designers
·         Assists with the establishment and maintenance of design department standards that ensure design excellence
·         Conceptualize ways of providing new and improved value to our customers
·         Manage research and design project budgets
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

·         Strong 3D modeling/rendering proficiency. 3D software: Solid Works/Rhino
