Job Summary

The TE Technician at Jabil, Inc. supports manufacturing operations by performing setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test equipment. This role ensures the reliability and accuracy of testing processes for electronic products.

Job Responsibilities

* Set up, calibrate, and verify the functionality of various test equipment, including automated test equipment (ATE), functional testers, and specialized measurement devices.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance and scheduled calibrations on test fixtures and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to test equipment failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
* Conduct repairs on faulty test equipment, including component replacement, soldering, and reassembly, following established procedures.
* Assist engineers in the development, validation, and implementation of new test programs and methodologies.
* Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repair activities, calibration logs, and test results.
* Collaborate with production teams to address test-related issues and optimize test processes for efficiency and yield improvement.
* Follow all safety protocols and quality standards in the execution of daily tasks.
* Provide technical support and training to production operators on the proper use of test equipment.

Job Qualifications

* Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics assembly or testing.
* Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and test methodologies.
* Proficiency in using common test and measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers).
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
* Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and associated software is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
