Job Summary:
The IT Application Admin II will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of various business applications and IT Infrastructure services within Jabil Vietnam. This role involves application operations, vendor management, IT compliance & security, and audit support. You will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation, leveraging SQL and Power BI for reporting and insights. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Application Operations & Infrastructure Support: Maintain and support enterprise applications and their integration across server and network infrastructure, ensuring performance, uptime, and SLA adherence.
- Incident & Problem Management: Troubleshoot application, database, and network-related issues; perform root-cause analysis; implement preventive measures and documentation. Coordinate deployments, patches, and configuration changes following change-control processes.
- Vendor Management: Manage end-to-end vendor interactions—RFP/RFQ, technical evaluations, contract terms, PO creation, invoice validation, and payment tracking—ensuring cost, quality, and compliance. Define and maintain the IT catalogue (software, licenses, hardware, services); enforce standards, lifecycle management, and alignment with budget approvals.
- IT Compliance & Security: Implement and monitor controls for IT compliance (e.g., ISO, Factory standards), support IT security policies, handle Internal/external audit evidence, and remediate findings.
- Financial & Cost Management: Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation for IT/application services; reconcile actuals versus plan; provide variance analysis and optimization recommendations.
- Data & Reporting Enablement: Build and maintain reports using SQL databases and Power BI (usage, cost, SLA, compliance dashboards); automate data pipelines and ensure data accuracy. Identify opportunities for application optimization and automation to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Communication & Governance: Deliver clear presentations, status updates contribute to governance and process standardization. Provide training and guidance to IT and business stakeholders on application functionalities and best practices.
- Capacity management, routine system health checks, performance monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure application stability and availability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT infrastructure and application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Lead IT projects related to IT infrastructure and application implementation, integration.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Proven experience in application administration supporting enterprise-level applications (e.g., ERP, MES, PLM).
- Database & Reporting: Proficiency in SQL (queries, views) and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, governance).
- ITSM Practices: Experience with ITIL processes—incident, problem, change, and configuration management; familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Security & Compliance: Working knowledge of IT security fundamentals (access control, patching, vulnerability management) and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001) with audit support experience.
- Vendor & Procurement: Demonstrated capability in vendor management, contracts review, PO/Invoice/Payment processing, and service-level governance with a pragmatic, cost-conscious approach.
- Financial Acumen: Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and variance analysis for IT services or applications; comfort with finance interfaces and GL/Cost Center structures.
- Automation & Scripting: Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell/Python; experience with ETL/data quality checks for reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Mindset & Ownership: Detail-oriented, process-driven, and proactive; able to operate independently at escalation point, prioritize effectively in a global, multi-site environment.
