Global Quality Manager

How will you make an impact?

As aGlobal Quality Manager, you will lead data-driven quality initiatives across Jabil’s global operations, driving predictive and preventive strategies to improve product reliability and engineering performance. You’ll analyze complex quality data, develop innovative reporting tools, and influence cross-functional teams to adopt best-in-class quality practices. Your leadership will support the standardization of quality systems, mentor site-level teams, and champion digital transformation across the quality function.

Location:

• St. Petersburg; travel may be required to support site startups and initiatives.

What will you do?

Leadership & Development

• Identify strengths and development needs across global quality engineering teams.
• Support the creation and validation of training curriculum for Certified Quality Engineers (QEs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Mentor site Quality Managers and staff to elevate performance and consistency.

Strategic Quality Management

• Define and implement global quality engineering strategies aligned with Jabil’s operational goals.
• Understand and support critical customer quality strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement in key operational and quality metrics.

Data Analytics & Insights

• Analyze global quality data to identify systemic issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop predictive models to reduce defects and improve yield.
• Lead root cause analysis using Six Sigma and statistical tools.

Executive Reporting & Communication

• Design and deliver high-impact dashboards and reports for executive audiences.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to adopt data-driven quality improvements.

Innovation & Tool Development

• Develop and implement advanced tools for data visualization and analysis.
• Evaluate and integrate platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, and R.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives within the global quality function.

Technical Oversight

• Standardize systems, procedures, and practices across all Jabil quality inspection processes.
• Promote improvement in quality engineering metrics, inspection yield, and time-to-quality.
• Support new facility and workcell startups with technical quality assistance.
• Ensure proper data and knowledge transfer during launches.
• Maintain compliance with global regulatory standards and internal policies.

How will you get here?

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Quality Management, or related field.
• MS in Quality/Industrial Engineering or Data Science preferred.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a global manufacturing or technology environment.
• Experience working across cultures and time zones in a matrixed organization.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality methodologies.
• Advanced skills in analytics platforms (Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with global quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
