How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Site Quality Manager at our Grand Junction, CO facility, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all quality functions at the site. You will develop and execute quality initiatives that ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Location: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What Will You Do?
Talent & Team Leadership
- Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain Quality Engineers, Quality Analysts, and Out-of-Box Audit (OBA) personnel.
- Identify team strengths and development needs, establish training plans, and manage succession planning for the Quality organization.
- Foster employee engagement through coaching, performance feedback, recognition, and career development.
Performance & Operational Excellence
- Establish and monitor team and individual goals using operational metrics, project deliverables, training completion, attendance, and development objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing coaching, and drive continuous improvement in quality performance and organizational goals.
- Coordinate team activities and maintain operational focus during periods of business disruption or crisis.
Business & Functional Leadership
- Develop and execute Quality strategies aligned with campus and workcell objectives.
- Provide regular updates to business and operations leadership regarding strategy execution, performance results, and improvement initiatives.
- Prepare departmental forecasts, monitor cost performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process simplification and elimination of non-value-added activities.
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics management, trend analysis, and implementation of best practices.
- Evaluate data collection methods, measurement systems, procedures, and work instructions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support customer requirements by prioritizing issue resolution and maintaining a strong customer-service focus.
- Maintain compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements and serve as the Quality Management Representative (QMR).
- Share knowledge and best practices across facilities to support organizational improvement.
Communication & Compliance
- Facilitate regular communication within the department and encourage employee feedback and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership using appropriate verbal and written communication methods.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, confidentiality expectations, and security procedures.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive quality/manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
The pay range for this role is $98,200 - $176,800. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: December 12, 2026.
