How Will You Make an Impact?

In this Quality Assurance Technician (QA Support Specialist) on-site role, you will enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Assurance (QA) department by providing both administrative and technical support to the Quality Engineer and broader quality team. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements. Your work will directly contribute to improving process consistency, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction. By supporting audits, inspections, and quality systems, you will help strengthen overall operational excellence.

Location:Our Florence, KY (Northern Kentucky Cincinnati area) site supports high-growth AI and cloud infrastructure customers, spanning server and rack integration, and datacenters where quality, speed, and traceability are essential.

Shift: Sunday – Tuesday / Sunday - Wednesday 6PM – 6AM: Hourly Shift Differential 15%

What Will You Do?

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of visual aids.

  • Support Quality Engineers and Technicians in daily engineering and quality functions.

  • Prepare and organize raw data for analysis and reporting.

  • Perform routine process and product audits.

  • Support new product introductions and related experiments as directed by leadership.

  • Review defect samples and verify purge processes.

  • Assist with MES setup for both new and existing products.

  • Track and follow up on DA, ECN, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

  • Review non-conforming materials and products for compliance.

  • Conduct and support production inspections to meet customer requirements.

  • Compile and maintain quality documentation and records.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.

  • Communicate findings and escalate concerns when necessary.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How Will You Get Here?

Education

  • Technical Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred not required or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Prior experience in a quality, manufacturing, or technical support role preferred but not required.

  • Experience working in electronics or component handling environments is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • General knowledge of electronic component handling.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.

  • Ability to interpret graphs, ratios, and technical data.

  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems and advanced PC skills.

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, visual aids, and technical documents.

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).

  • Effective communication skills, including presenting information to various audiences.

  • Ability to write simple correspondence and documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work within standardized processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MES systems.

  • Familiarity with quality systems such as CAPA, ECN, and defect tracking.

  • Exposure to manufacturing quality audits and inspections.
