Work schedule for this position is Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In a climate -controlled building with an amazing team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Handler III to join our team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting various warehouse and production functions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, and serve as a team lead in the absence of the Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

General Duties:

  • Serve as the lead in the absence of the Supervisor.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy in SAP at all times.
  • Perform at least three of the following functions: Return to Stock (RTS), stockroom operations, cycle counts, WIP support, shipping, receiving inspection, or receiving.
  • Reconcile inventory variances and make necessary adjustments.
  • Report line record accuracy to Supervisor and Manager.
  • Act as a liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the production line regarding inventory and shortage issues.

Stockroom / RTS:

  • Store materials using RF scanners and verify transactions in SAP.
  • Pull and split kits per system procedures.
  • Scan kits and pull shortages to ensure completeness.
  • Count returned materials to maintain system accuracy.
  • Organize box build areas and maintain kanban inventory levels.

Receiving:

  • Validate deliveries against bills of lading and packing slips.
  • Sign for incoming materials and complete system receipts.
  • Perform de-trash procedures to maintain cleanliness in stockroom and production areas.

Receiving Inspection:

  • Follow inspection plans and special instructions for incoming materials.
  • Verify packing slips and inventory quantities.
  • Execute SAP transactions to move materials and perform inventory adjustments.
  • Obtain and maintain Quality Control Inspection certification (IPC-A-610).

Shipping:

  • Understand and follow domestic and international shipping procedures.
  • Schedule/manage transportation carriers per corporate guidelines.
  • Perform physical movements and system transactions accurately.
  • Support month-end shipping activities, including overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead others when needed.
  • Proficiency in SAP and RF scanning tools.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control processes and ERP systems.
  • Effective communication skills with internal teams and external partners.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or related warehouse operations.
  • Certification in IPC-A-610 (or willingness to obtain).

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
