Job Summary

Location : CVG200

Shift : Sunday- Tuesday every other Wednesday 6pm-6am


The Industrial Engineering Tech I will assist in the implementation of industrial engineering principles to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. This role supports the industrial engineering team by collecting data, performing basic analysis, and contributing to process documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data related to production processes, cycle times, and resource utilization.

  • Assist in time studies, work sampling, and other industrial engineering methodologies to identify areas for improvement.

  • Support the development and maintenance of process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flowcharts.

  • Help implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities, such as 5S events and value stream mapping.

  • Prepare basic reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to gather information and facilitate process changes.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.


Job Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to industrial engineering concepts.

  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is a plus.
