Jabil Inc. - Diagnostic Test Engineer (Night Shift)

Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Test Engineer on the night shift, you will be responsible for the validation and debugging of complex electronic assemblies and systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and performance by identifying and resolving hardware and software test failures.

Job Responsibilities:

* Perform in-depth analysis and debugging of failing units from various stages of the manufacturing process, including in-circuit test (ICT), functional test (FCT), and system-level test (SLT).
* Utilize a range of diagnostic tools, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers, to pinpoint root causes of failures.
* Collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
* Develop and implement test procedures and fixtures to improve test coverage and efficiency.
* Document test results, failure modes, and debugging steps accurately and comprehensively.
* Provide technical support and training to production operators on test processes and troubleshooting techniques.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and manufacturing yield.
* Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment during night shift hours.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in diagnostic testing, test engineering, or product validation within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
* Proficiency in using common test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
* Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and test software development (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand, Python) is highly desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional weekends as required.
