JOB SUMMARY
At NP Medical, the Program Manager position will manage, control, and direct the activities of the Program Management function within NP Medical. They will oversee and direct cross functional programs through direct implementation of program management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and program success. This role also manages change and promotes continuous improvement of project management related processes. Provides management and guidance to multi-functional project teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and direct the activities of the Program Management function.
- Establish and maintain communications among internal and external program stakeholders. Responsible for delivering quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features.
- Leading the Project Review Board and guiding the team on initiating, managing and closing out projects.
- Overseeing the progress and activities of all projects, issuing a monthly report, managing individual programs on an as needed basis.
- Communicates with key internal and/or program stakeholders to understand their needs, preferences, and perspectives.
- Ensure that the impact of tradeoffs are fully considered in the course of development of programs.
- Leads cross-functional teams throughout all stages of the product lifecycle to achieve timely, within budget results, with products and processes that meet or exceed requirements.
- Clearly articulates program status to senior management and develops creative approaches to address program challenges.
- Establishes project strategy, executes the plan and measures results.
- Leads project planning and commitment process.
- Responsible for making decisions regarding the appropriate program risk when there is substantial program impact.
- Maintains project transparency through formal, written communications and reporting status systems.
- Anticipates opportunities for proactive solutions. Manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes.
- Supports all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the strategic and tactical needs of the company and the requirements of the department/position.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven ability to manage programs through all program lifecycles.
- Experience in guiding teams through the process of developing and maintaining products, including requirements specified by the FDA 21CFR820, EU MDR, ISO14971, ISO13485, CGMP and other standards related to lifecycles of medical devices.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
- Prior Medical Device development experience through all product lifecycle stages.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build and leverage partnerships, implement change and manage projects.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Project leadership experience balanced across all product lifecycles within a medical device environment.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience required.
The pay range for this role is $127,100 - $228,700. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
