Job Summary:**

The Principle Engineer at Jabil Circuit de Chihuahua S. de R.L. de C.V. will serve as a top-tier technical expert, providing leadership and guidance in the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering solutions. This role is crucial for driving innovation, optimizing processes, and ensuring the highest quality standards across various projects.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Lead the architectural design and development of highly complex electronic systems, products, or manufacturing processes.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Define technical roadmaps, strategies, and best practices for engineering disciplines within the organization.
* Conduct in-depth technical analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis for critical issues.
* Drive the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance product performance and efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure successful project execution.
* Develop and implement robust testing and validation strategies for complex systems and components.
* Prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
* Act as a key technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and external partners.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and Jabil's internal quality procedures.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. A Ph.D. is a strong plus.
* Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead or principal engineering role within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
* Demonstrated expertise in complex electronic system design, including circuit design, PCB layout, firmware development, and system integration.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, CAE, simulation tools, PLM systems).
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies and components.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and strategic direction.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
* Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
* Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
* Ability to travel occasionally as required.
