New Product Introduction Trainee

Summary of Job:
The NPI Trainee position will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and support within the department while also developing skills related to new product introduction processes and project management practices.

Responsibilities:
• Support daily operations by organizing files, maintaining databases, and communicating effectively with colleagues both within and outside of the organization.
• Assist in preparation for meetings by setting up conference rooms, distributing agendas, taking notes, and summarizing key points discussed during sessions.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to help ensure timely completion of tasks associated with NPI projects.
• Help coordinate activities between different departments involved in NPI efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of project status updates, resource allocation, budget tracking, etc.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team environment.
• Problem solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles helpful but not required.
