Regional IT Support Developer – MES Focus

We are looking for a Regional IT Support Developer with MES focus to join our dynamic European IT team and support our  MES4.0 ecosystem source code level across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people from different countries and cultures, has strong application development and troubleshooting skills, and is eager to deepen their knowledge of Jabil MES systems. The role is ideal for a technical professional who likes solving complex application issues, analyzing code-level problems, improving system stability, and contributing to regional digital transformation initiatives.

The position includes providing L3 code-level application support in rotation with other regional colleagues to ensure 24/7 support coverage for business-critical MES applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide L3 code-level support for MES application(s), and some other critical regional applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, including code, database, interface, and integration-related problems.
• Participate in a regional support rotation with other colleagues to provide 7x24 hour coverage for critical MES application support.
• Active participation in Major Incident calls for troubleshooting and fixing the issues
• Participate on the follow up Problem Management calls and provide feedback for efficient preventive actions identification
• Build local environment for bug fixing and testing the corrections
• Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable technical solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain application components using technologies such as Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, and RabbitMQ.
• Support MES ecosystem integrations with other business and manufacturing systems.
• Work closely with Site SMEs, Digital Factory teams, IT Support teams, infrastructure teams, Devops and DBA colleagues and other regional/global counterparts.
• Participate in regional and cross-functional IT projects, providing technical expertise and development support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledgebase articles.
• Propose and implement continuous improvements to increase application reliability, performance, supportability, and user experience.
• Support application testing, deployment validation, and post-release stabilization activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in application development and/or application support.
• Strong technical experience with the following technology stack:
  • Angular, Typescript
  • .NET, .NET Core
  • C#
  • SQL
  • RabbitMQ
  • Rest APIs
  • Azure Devops , git
  • EKS, Docker
  • aws services
• Proven experience in troubleshooting complex application issues.
• Ability to analyze logs, code, database queries, interfaces, and application behavior to identify root causes.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, release management, and incident/problem management processes.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work with multicultural teams across multiple countries and time zones.
• Willingness to participate in regional 24/7 support rotation.
• Willingness to travel regionally if required.

• Experience with Jabil MES systems and the MES4.0 ecosystem.
• Experience with Mendix.
• Understanding of manufacturing, shopfloor, and business processes.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or source control tools.
• Experience working in a regional or global IT support organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in application development, application support, or a similar technical role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with MES or production-critical applications is a strong advantage.
