Jabil is seeking a System Architecture Director to continue our transformative growth across our Intelligent Infrastructure division.The System Architecture Director has responsibility for technical capability development, technical product definition, and driving development direction for our customers encompassing Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Design Services.In this role you must collaborate with Sales and Business leaders, manage System Architects and Product Managers, work closely with the development teams and technology suppliers to define and execute on our strategy to provide world-class systems and solutions in the Cloud and Networking space.

What will you do?

• Recruit, develop, and retain key technical talent.

• Maintain team competencies in current technology and design trends, and identify gaps in both capability and capacity.

• Coach and mentor the team to deliver clear System Architectures and requirements that delight our customers and minimize ambiguity.

• Partner well with leaders across Sales, the Business Unit, Engineering, and Program Management.

• Apply deep understanding of Server, Storage, and Networking product architectures, system designs, and development processes.

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for strategic customers, understanding their business objectives and translating them into scalable system architectures.

• Lead architecture workshops, technical deep dives, and design sessions with customer teams.

• Demonstrated experience building and managing high-performance technical teams.

• Ability to lead others across multiple ambiguous and complex projects.

• Strong domain knowledge across electrical, mechanical, thermal, and firmware disciplines for the data center market.

• Knowledge of the data center space and rack-scale infrastructure and deployment.

• Analytical and decisive decision maker

Education: 

• BSEE/MSEE, BSCE/MSCE, BSCS/MSCS, BSME/MSM

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• Deep understanding of Server, Storage, and Networking product architectures, system designs, and development processes.

• 15+ years of experience in datacenter hardware and firmware development

• 4+ years in technical people management

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional engagements

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Master’s Degree is a plus
