Summary of Position
Jabil, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Market Intelligence Intern to support both our Market/Business Intelligence and Marketing teams. This internship is intentionally structured with a 50/50 split between market intelligence and marketing support, offering broad exposure to strategy, research, content development, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, proactive, and interested in learning how market insights and marketing execution work together to support business strategy—particularly within advanced technology and infrastructure-focused domains.
Intern Duties & Responsibilities
Market / Business Intelligence (≈50%)
Track and summarize quarterly earnings, performance updates, and strategic signals from key customers, suppliers, competitors, and industry players.
Prepare clear, concise earnings briefs and market summaries for internal distribution to marketing, sales, and leadership teams.
Support one-off market event reporting, including acquisitions, partnerships, major industry announcements, and competitive moves.
Assist with analysis and summarization of third-party market research, identifying key insights and implications for Jabil.
Support executive-level deep-dive research and long-term planning initiatives, including data synthesis, slide creation, formatting, and storytelling for presentations.
Marketing Support (≈50%)
Research, compare, and evaluate conference meeting scheduling tools to streamline how meetings are scheduled, tracked, and managed at large industry events.
Assess platform functionality, usability, and effectiveness in supporting coordination across marketing, sales, and business units.
Summarize findings and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
Support blog development highlighting Jabil’s capabilities and leadership in Data Center, Photonics, and Liquid Cooling.
Conduct background research and gather supporting data, trends, and insights.
Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture technical and business perspectives.
Assist in outlining blog concepts, key messages, and supporting narratives for handoff to the central marketing and content teams.
Qualifications
Major(s): Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
Class Year(s): Junior, Senior, Recent Graduate
Technical Skills:
Strong research, analytical, and synthesis skills with the ability to translate information into clear, executive-ready summaries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfort working with PowerPoint and Excel; experience creating well-structured slides is a plus
Interest in technology, infrastructure, and global markets
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams
