Jabil is seeking a Regional Senior Master Planner to work in St. Petersburg, FL or any of our Jabil Plants located throughout the US.

The Regional Senior Master Planner is responsible for managing all planning activities within the assigned workcell and providing mentorship to Planners. This role ensures operational efficiency, accurate forecasting, and timely delivery while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive 100% on-time delivery performance.

  • Establish and maintain build readiness for all scheduled production.

  • Optimize capacity utilization and customer sizing for efficiency.

  • Ensure accurate revenue forecasting and material control to minimize liability.

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in Jabil’s ERP system, including Purchase Order (PO) coverage.

  • Reconcile MPS against customer PO coverage weekly to prevent exposure beyond authorized demand.

  • Maintain 100% accuracy and achievability of the MPS; achieve and sustain a 95% MPS performance goal.

  • Own production planning, Bill of Materials (BOM), and document control processes.

  • Analyze material and capacity requirements; communicate constraints to the Workcell and customer based on validated demand.

  • Maintain and update the workcell’s capacity planning model; resolve uneven capacity utilization while balancing customer focus and resource efficiency.

  • Collaborate daily with Workcell and manufacturing teams to review production schedules, adjust as needed, optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers.

  • Maintain current customer contracts and understand terms related to material liability, PO placement, pricing, and in-house inventory.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all planning activities, ensuring no production begins without valid PO coverage, adequate materials, accurate BOM, and routing.

  • Lead BOM and routing creation to enable accurate WIP tracking and inventory transactions.

  • Manage End-of-Life (EOL) planning, including leading strategy meetings 30 days prior to the last build date and executing build schedules, corrections, and customer demand alignment.

  • Oversee internal purge processes for the Workcell.

  • Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • HS Diploma or equivalent is required, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics is strongly preferred OR an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Forecasting, Demand/Supply Chain Planning Activities

  • A minimum of 1.5 years of experience as Master Planner

  • Some Supervisory experience preferred

  • Thorough understanding of MRP systems, component lead times, internal run rates, test development timelines, machine programming lead times, and the full production sequence.
