How Will You Make an Impact?

As a Quality Technician at our Auburn Hills, MI facility, you will provide hands‑on support to Quality Engineering activities with a strong focus on Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) processes. You will analyze quality data, prepare and maintain documentation, generate reports, and support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributions will help ensure product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

On‑site at our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

What Will You Do?

  • Perform data analysis on quality metrics to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities within PCBA processes.
  • Prepare, maintain, and control quality documentation including work instructions, process specifications, and inspection procedures.
  • Generate detailed quality reports summarizing findings, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with report and presentation preparation to communicate quality performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Document quality issues, resolutions, and improvements clearly and accurately.
  • Support Quality Engineers with investigations, audits, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure adherence to Jabil quality standards, procedures, and applicable industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support quality objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How Will You Get Here?

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience required.
  • Experience in data analysis within a manufacturing or quality environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting PCBA manufacturing strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) processes and quality control methods.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining controlled quality documentation.
  • Ability to generate comprehensive quality reports using relevant software tools.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Proficiency with standard reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
