Business Unit Manager (Pharmaceutical)

Jabil is seeking a Business Unit Manager to serve as a strategic leader for key pharmaceutical customer relationships, driving profitable growth, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. This role combines commercial leadership, financial ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution of customer programs while supporting long-term business objectives. What You'll Do
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with pharmaceutical customers, serving as their primary business partner.
- Own and manage customer P&L performance, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for organic business growth and expanded customer partnerships.
- Lead customer proposals, pricing strategies, contract execution, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Partner closely with operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and manufacturing teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost optimization.
- Support site leadership in defining and executing strategic business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, quality standards, and company safety requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, finance, supply chain, account management, or related business leadership roles.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, pricing, business analytics, and profitability analysis.
- Experience managing customer relationships in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industry environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA or related field).
- Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of contract management, supply chain operations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven success leading change initiatives and delivering business growth.
